Carol Kopelman has been serving as Honorary Consul of Morocco since 2011. She has been heading the Consulate General in Boston since the previous Consul General retired in July 2017.
With an MBA from Simmons College and an MPH in International Health from Boston University, Ms. Kopelman is an international public health consultant and member and one time chair of the board of Safe Havens Interfaith Partnership against Domestic Violence. As former Executive Director of the Consular Corps College, she served as UN representative for the FICAC international consular organization. Previously, she was Budget & Fiscal Manager at the American Embassy in Bamako, Mali, served on the board of the 21st Century Fund, and was elected as Trustee of the Brookline Public Library.
